Inventory of real-time EARS buoy passive acoustic data from the northern Gulf of Mexico, 2017-10-23 - 2017-11-20

A real-time buoy was deployed to test the development of Environmental Acoustic Recording System (EARS) buoy satellite-transmitted data packages. Deployed at 28° 23.8352' N, -88° 59.2394' W in 1037 m of water, the buoy consists of two hydrophones that record onto two paired, single-channel EARS recording systems sampling at 192 kHz each stored in 16-bit proprietary binary format. There are three datasets, each containing 37,616 files.
