资源简介:
The increasing concern by the international community that the assessment of microbial diversity is useful as microbial indicators of any specific area and that indicators are necessary to evaluate the structure and function of microbial communities in unregulated construction and urban sites. This world-unique forest being 6 percent around Jeju is classified as a lava-based forest, called Gotjawal (a language dialect of Jeju) and alarmed that the forest has been gradually disappearing during the last several decades, with approximately one half having been destroyed. The assessment of microbial diversity from the Gotjawal Microbiogy Research Group as a working group conducted since 2010. Accomplishments of the research can cause significant shifts in the forest environment, for the future, and that there is a good chance to assess the microbial diversity of the forests to obtain better information. In addition, the remaining forest can be used as a model forest to understand carbon and nitrogen cycling with respect to predicted global climate change.
