Alluvial cover volume and morphology in a sinuous fixed-bed channel

This dataset contains tabular and spatial data related to experiments of alluvial cover formation in a sinuous fixed-bed channel. The total cover volume, cover extent and mean elevation by analysis slice, distribution of elevation values in the cover, location and length of exposed bank, cross-sectional profiles, and sieved sediment output data are stored in the spreadsheets. All raster files of the alluvial cover DEMs are provided for the experiments for every 20-minute interval. The empty bed DEM has been removed from all DEMs to produce DEMs-of-Difference (DODs) showing the elevation of the alluvial cover above the channel bed. Rasters of the orthophoto moving-window standard deviation for the final cover of each experiment are provided. These rasters have been masked by the cover extent, and were used for the surface texture analysis are also provided.
