What is the health education role of paramedics for older individuals and communities within rural and regional Australia? A mixed-methods study.

This thesis examines the concept of paramedic-initiated health education initiatives for older rural-dwelling adults. It identifies new opportunities for paramedics to contribute to the health and well-being of older people from rural and regional areas, potentially reducing avoidable hospitalisation.
