Snow algae, impurities, and geochemistry of snowpacks on Gulkana Glacier, Alaska in 2024

This dataset has the following contents. 1. Algal cell volume biomass were calculated from cell density and cell sizes. 2. The amount of impurities, organic matter, and mineral were measured by the following method. After the samples were dried (60 degreeC, 24-48 hours) (EO-450V, ETTAS, Japan) and weighed, they were combusted for 5 hour at 500 degreeC in an electric furnace (SSTR-13R, ISUZU, Japan). 3. Water stable isotopes were analyzed using water stable isotopes analyzer (DLT-100, LGR). 4. Major chemical solute concentrations were measured using an ion chromatography system (ICS-1100, Thermofisher, USA). 5. Pigment concentration were measured using a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) (SHIMADZU)本数据集包含以下内容： 1. 藻类细胞体积生物量通过细胞密度与细胞尺寸计算得到。 2. 杂质、有机质与矿物含量通过下述方法测定：将样品置于60℃环境下干燥24~48小时（采用日本ETTAS公司EO-450V型干燥箱）并称重后，放入日本ISUZU公司SSTR-13R型箱式马弗炉中，于500℃下灼烧5小时。 3. 水体稳定同位素采用DLT-100型水体稳定同位素分析仪（LGR公司）进行分析。 4. 主要化学溶质浓度采用美国赛默飞世尔（Thermofisher）公司ICS-1100型离子色谱系统测定。 5. 色素浓度采用岛津（SHIMADZU）公司高效液相色谱（High-Performance Liquid Chromatography，简称HPLC）进行测定。
