THE PROCESS OF UZBEKISTAN'S INDEPENDENCE AND ITS ROLE IN THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the process of Uzbekistan’s attainment of state independence. It systematically examines the political, economic, and social factors that contributed to independence and highlights its historical significance. Particular attention is given to the role of independence in strengthening state sovereignty, enhancing the country’s international standing, and shaping its foreign policy development. In addition, the study explores large-scale reforms implemented in the post-independence period, the formation of national identity and ideology, and the stages of Uzbekistan’s integration into the global community.
