Human mastadenovirus A genome sequencing. Human mastadenovirus A

Molecular investigation using illumina whole genome sequencing of a 4-year outbreak of human adenovirus A31 (HAdV-A31) infection on a pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) unit in Toronto. HAdV-A31 from pediatric HSCT recipients in USA, Ireland and Czech Republic were also sequenced, as were seven Toronto HAdV-A31 infections that occurred before and after the outbreak (4 of these with Nanopore Gridion). Other human mastadenovirus A infections (types A12, A61) that occurred on the Toronto unit during the study period (2014-2018) were also sequenced.
