Ovarian development is a crucial process in female reproduction which divided in to oocyte development and yolk protein vitellogenin (Vg) synthesis or accumulation. The process can be physically control by several hormone pathways. Ecdysone is one of well-known steriod hormone that can modulate ovarian development in insect. However, this system requires to explore detail in crustaceans. Therefore, investigation of transcriptome upon ecdysone receptor in target ovary tissue in P. monodon needs to explore the basic endocrine pathway to understand regulating of reproductive system
