Single center research：Association between HLA-B and HLA-DR genetic polymorphisms and systemic lupus erythematosus in Yunnan Han patients in China

We explored the association between HLA-B and HLA-DR genetic polymorphisms and clinical characteristics of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in Yunnan Han patients in China. Method Data was collected from 295 Han patients and 265 healthy Han people from Yunnan province who were admitted to the Rheumatology and Immunology department of First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from September 2015 to April 2021. Clinical data, including manifestation and laboratory data, were recorded. PCR was used to detect HLA-B and HLA-DR genotypes in patients and healthy controls (HCs), and frequencies of allele and haplotype were compared to explore the association between genotypes and SLE clinical features.
