Jinan Street View Image Dataset for Urban Vitality Analysis

This dataset comprises street view images utilized in the study titled "Nonlinear Effects of the Built Environment on Urban Vitality in Jinan Based on Multi-Source Data and Explainable AI." The research aims to investigate the nonlinear relationships between the built environment and urban vitality in Jinan, China. The images serve as the primary source data for quantifying visual perceptions of the built environment—such as the Green View Index and openness—which are key explanatory variables in the analysis. A total of 29,600 images, corresponding to the spatial sample points defined in the paper, are included in this curated set.
