Geobacillus sp. Y4.1MC1. Geobacillus sp. Y4.1MC1 was isolated from the Bath Hot Spring in Yellowstone National Park. This organism produces biofilm in liquid culture and will be used for comparative analysis with other thermophilic bacteria.
