X-ray CT Scans of Schistocerca emarginata. (Spotted Bird Grasshopper)

X-ray CT Scans of the whole body of Schistocerca emarginatum (Texas: Travis Co., Austin, Brackenridge Field Laboratory; 1 August 2003; A. D. Smith) for Dr. John Abbott of the Department of Integrative Biology, The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Timothy Rowe of the Department of Geological Sciences, The University of Texas at Austin, and Digimorph. Specimen scanned by Matthew Colbert 8 August 2003. This specimen was scanned from back to front, so after reconstruction the images were renumbered and flipped to conform with typical ‘front-to-back’ orientation. Voxel size X and Y = 0.03906 mm; Z = 0.085 mm. Total slices = 1035.
