One of the key haloalkaline sulfide-oxidizing bacteria Thioalkalivibrio sulfidiphilus strain SGAR-7 and SGAR-13 was isolated from biomass of a pilot-scale haloalkaline biodesulfurization installation and the complete genome sequence was determined.
