The effect of density and soil on goldenrod

On October 19, 2015 and October 16, 2015 at 2:45pm to 4:15pm, data was collected at Stong Pond, York University. The weather on both days were suitable to collect data with some wind and sun. Starting from the shore, walk three steps and place the quadrat. Observe the density—percentage of goldenrod in the quadrat. Using a thermometer, measure the soil's temperature in the quadrat. Count the number of goldenrod stems and number of goldenrod branches in the quadrat. Record observations and repeat the steps 25 times on both days. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of density and soil temperature on goldenrod through the count of its stem and branches.
