WACCM-X simulations of May 2024 geomagnetic storm under different levels greenhouse gases

This dataset contains simulation output of the May 2024 geomagnetic storm from the Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model with thermosphere-ionosphere eXtension (WACCM-X) under different levels of greenhouse gases. Data files include the WACCM-X output for years 2016, 2040, 2061, and 2084 simulated under the CMIP6 SSP5-8.5 scenario. The data files are in support of the publication "Impact of increasing greenhouse gases on the ionosphere and thermosphere response to a geomagnetic storm".
