Treponema succinifaciens genome from human fecal sample

This study presents a metagenomic assembled genome (MAG) of Treponema succinifaciens isolated from a human fecal sample collected in the Netherlands in October 2025. The genome was sequenced using Oxford Nanopore MinION technology and assembled with metaFlye, achieving 93.61% completeness and 4.36% contamination at 125X coverage. Taxonomic classification by GTDB-Tk identified the species as Treponema_D succinifaciens with 95.0% ANI to reference genome GCF_000195275.1. Contact: Remco Kort ([e-mail]), VU Amsterdam.
