High-throughput sequencing of porcine adipose tissues

Subcutaneous adipose tissue and visceral adipose tissue have distinct characteristics in adipose metabolism and impaired inflammation response, thus causing their different effects in metabolic disorders. Revealing the differences in chromatin regulatory landscape between subcutaneous adipose tissue and visceral adipose tissue could be crucial for understanding why they vary in their effects on metabolic disorders. Thus, we performed DNase-seq, RNA-seq, and ChIP-seq for histone markers to generate a comprehensive map of transcriptomes, open chromatin regions, and regulatory elements in porcine subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissue.
