The database consists of two parts: images and an excel sheet that records the sporomorph diversity. Each entry in the excelsheet also records a short description of the sporomorph, possible synonyms, the slide code and the coordinates. The database was initially set up as an aid to keep track of the high sporomorph divesity during counting. Due to this the database also collects undescribed sporomorphs, recorded with a "type" name.
