The present invention effectively suppresses the electrostatic charging of fibers in a sheet production device that forms a sheet using fibers obtained by fibrillating a raw material. A sheet production device 100 is provided with: a fibrillating unit 20 for fibrillating， in air， a raw material containing fibers; and a sheet-forming unit 100b that forms a sheet using at least part of a fibrillated material subjected to fibrillation processing by the fibrillating unit 20. The area between the fibrillating unit 20 and the sheet-forming unit 100b is thermally blocked.
