KaratzaKaralis2020 - CYP mediated losartan metabolism

A four-compartment pharmacokinetic model that describes the disposition of losartan and E-3174 (Karatza and Karalis, 2020). The main objective of this model is to describe the secondary maxima observed in the plasma concentration-time profiles of losartan and E-3174. This model incorporates a sinusoidal equation which illustrates open-close cycles of gastric pyloric valve.
