A community-based participatory assessment of rural women’s barriers to preventing podoconiosis in Rwanda.

Focus group discussions conducted to understand the economic, cultural, and ergonomic factors that impact rural female farmers’ use of protective footwear in Rwanda. Interviews were conducted across four provinces of the country, with male and female farmers.
