In-situ soundscape, fNIRS and eye-tracking in a riverside park
收藏资源简介:
This is the analysis-ready dataset underlying an in-situ field experiment relating soundscape perception to cortical haemodynamics and visual attention. Twenty-seven young adults (thirteen female, fourteen male; mean age 20.63 years) contributed forty paired samples at twenty-five measurement points in Olympic Park, Shenyang, a linear riverside park. Each point offers a natural side facing water, vegetation and open interfaces and a composite side facing paving, structures and buildings; the two sides share one acoustic environment at the same instant. Participants were exposed to the real environment, not recordings. Each sixty-second exposure followed a sixty-second resting baseline under noise-cancelling headphones and was rated on the eight ISO 12913 perceived-affective-quality items and four sound-source categories. The workbook holds block-level and sample-level tables of pleasantness and eventfulness under the Chinese-corrected ISO 12913-3 projection, A-weighted levels from binaural recordings, ADE20K-derived scene complexity and naturalness, fNIRS concentration change in micromoles per litre (exposure minus that block's own baseline) on seven retained channels, and total fixation duration from a head-mounted eye-tracker. Twenty-three of five hundred and sixty fNIRS units carry no measured signal and are flagged missing. Eye-tracking survived for thirty of forty samples; median recorded fixation is eleven per cent of the sixty-second exposure. Identifiers are anonymous and age is given in five-year bands.
