Sediment geochemistry, archaeal abundance and GDGT data from methane seep sediments offshore Southwest Taiwan

Parameters include methane gas concentration, sulfate concentration, total organic carbon, stable carbon isotopes of total organic carbon, total inorganic carbon, stable carbon isotopes of total inorganic carbon, the abundances of archaea and ANME-1, glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers (GDGTs) and their associated indices including the Methane Index, Branched Isoprenoid Index, Ring Index and TEX86. ANME1_gdgt_calculation datasheet shows the calculations based on which the ANME-1 GDGT relative distribution was inferred.
