资源简介:

This dataset contains the inputs and outputs associated with environmental niche modelling (ENM) analyses conducted for Florida Hardwood Forest Plant Species. The files are organized into several components, detailed below, and are provided to support reproducibility and further research on ecological modelling and biogeographic analyses. 1. Raw Occurrence Records Format: CSV Contents: Original species occurrence records obtained from GBIF and iDigBio. These records include coordinates, taxonomic information, and associated metadata. No filtering or cleaning was applied beyond the initial data download. 2. Cleaned Occurrence Records Format: CSV Contents: Occurrence records retained after data cleaning and spatial filtering. Records were examined for coordinate validity, spatial precision, and duplication, and further filtered to reduce sampling bias where applicable (e.g., spatial thinning). These data represent the final presence points used in model calibration and evaluation. 3. Pearson Correlation Matrices for Environmental Layers Format: CSV Contents: Pairwise Pearson correlation coefficients calculated among environmental predictor variables for each species. 4. Current FL Hardwood Forests Projections Format: GeoTIFF (.tif) Contents: Raster projections representing current habitat suitability for the species, as estimated by ENMs calibrated using present-day environmental variables. The GeoTIFF files contain continuous values indicating relative suitability across the modelled region. 5. Future FL Hardwood Forests Projections Format: GeoTIFF (.tif) Contents: Raster projections of potential future habitat suitability under various climate change scenarios and time periods. Each file corresponds to a specific climate model, scenario (e.g., SSP1-2.6, SSP5-8.5), and time slice (e.g., 2041–2060, 2081–2100) with species zipped together. These projections were generated using the same modelling approach as for current conditions, but applying future environmental layers across the FL Hardwood Forests. 6. Future ETF Projections Format: GeoTIFF (.tif) Contents: Raster projections of potential future habitat suitability under various climate change scenarios and time periods. Each file corresponds to a specific climate model, scenario (e.g., SSP1-2.6, SSP5-8.5), and time slice (e.g., 2041–2060, 2081–2100) with species zipped together. These projections were generated using the same modelling approach as for current conditions, but applying future environmental layers across the Eastern Temperate Forest region. 7. Species Richness Format: GeoTIFF (.tif) Contents: Raster projections of current and potential future species richness under various climate change scenarios and time periods. Each file corresponds to a specific climate model, scenario (e.g., SSP1-2.6, SSP5-8.5), and time slice (e.g., 2041–2060, 2081–2100) across the FL Hardwood Forests. These projections show the number of species with habitat suitability above 0.34 (the average minimum suitability for all species) per pixel.
