Gay Community Periodic Survey: Melbourne 2002

The fourth Melbourne Gay Community Periodic Survey was a cross-sectional survey of gay and homosexually active men recruited through a range of gay community sites in Melbourne. Data were collected on anal intercourse and oral sex, the use of condoms, the nature of sexual relationships, HIV testing and serostatus, aspects of social attachment to gay community, recreational drug use, and a range of demographic items including sexual identity, age, occupation and ethnicity. Time Dimensions: Repeated cross-sectional study. Sample Population: 1858 gay and homosexually-active men from Melbourne. Kind of Data: Survey.
