Water chemistry data for groundwater and ancillary seawater (surface or bottom) samples collected in Mississippi Sound and Mississippi Bight, 2016-04-26 to 2019-06-17

Investigation of water chemistry, biology, and circulation in the Mississippi Bight. All CONCORDE cruises were designed to provide observational (physical, chemical, biological) data on the Bight for use in a synthetic model describing oil exposure potential. This specific sampling was to obtain groundwater samples and ancillary seawater to constrain the composition of submarine groundwater discharge emanating into the Mississippi Sound and Bight. Sampling was conducted between 2016-04-26 and 2019-06-17. Cruise was led by chief scientist Alan M. Shiller.
