FIELD: paper. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a paper-based product. Wet-formed product based on paper contains at least 10 wt.??% cellulose fibres with linear density of more than 17 mg/100 m， from 1.0 to 10 wt.??% of synthetic non-cellulose fibres and less than 10 wt.??% of cellulose fibres with linear density of less than 17 mg/100 m and average fibre length of more than 1.2 m. Synthetic fibres are selected from a group consisting of polyesters， polyalkylenes， polyacrylonitriles and polyamides. Product is characterized by a TS7 value of less than 11 and a geometrical average tensile strength of 500 to 1200 g/3 inches.
