Methylomes of healthy Polish women and women diagnosed with breast cancer with blood arsenic (As) measurements

Genome-wide DNA methylation patterns were quantified in peripheral blood samples collected from 90 individuals using the Illumina Infinium HumanMethylationEPIC BeadChip In this study, we recruited 56 Healthy Polish women with 12-years cancer free follow-up and 34 Polish women diagnosed with BC with blood samples collected 4.29 years prior to cancer diagnosis. From each participant we collected peripheral blood sample for DNA extraction and performed DNA methylation analyses using Illumina Infinium HumanMethylationEPIC BeadChip.
