NRS-4459 | The Archives of Australia: Register of manuscript records

These registers relate to the Bonwick Transcripts in the Mitchell Library. They can no longer be used as indexes since the document and box numbers of the Bonwick Transcripts have been subsequently altered. Volumes 1-4 (19/10289-92) refer to series 2 of the Bonwick Transcripts; the volume labelled "Miscellaneous" (19/10294) refers to boxes on Cook in series 2 and other boxes; volume 19/10293 refers to Bonwick Transcripts boxes in series 1 on Bligh (vols.39-43), newspaper extracts (vols.66-80), missionary letters (vols.49-50) and Scotch martyrs (vol.38). These registers record volume number, number of document, date of document, nature of document, contents and enclosures. However, they appear to be incomplete.
