RADseq raw sequences of Quercus acerifolia, Maple-leaf Oak

To understand the genetic structure of Quercus acerifolia, we collected 190 samples, including 175 individuals from wild populations of Q. acerifolia, Q. buckelyii, Q. shumardii, and Q. rubra, and 15 individuals Q. acerifolia from ex situ collections in the spring of 2020. Restriction-site associated DNA (RAD) sequencing library was prepared at Floragenex, Inc. (Portland, OR, USA) with PstI enzyme following the methods of Baird et al. (2008). Samples were barcoded by individual, and sequenced on an HiSeq 3000 with single end 150 bp reads. Sequencing was performed at the Oregon State University Center for Quantitative Life Sciences.
