资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide made by Michel Frankignoulle and oceanic ammonium made by Malcolm Woodward during the Belgica 9714B research cruise in the Bay of Biscay, North-East Atlantic as part of the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) and the Ocean Margin EXchange (OMEX) programmes. The cruise began on 18th June 1997 and ended on 20th June 1997 with a spatial coverage of +42N latitude and +9W longitude. The data consists of: -12 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column by computing from pH and alkalinity; -12 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by computed from pH and alkalinity; and -9 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by colorimetric autoanalysis. See below for further details.
