microRNA sequencing of plasma exosomes from normal individuals, patients with type 2 diabetes.

To investigate the differences in microRNA expression in plasma exosomes among normal individuals, patients with type 2 diabetes, we employed Agilent microarray expression profiling as a discovery platform to detect changes in microRNA levels in different target populations. Blood from different individuals was centrifuged to obtain plasma, from which exosomes were then isolated using ultracentrifugation. MicroRNA from the exosomes was extracted using a kit and detected using probes.
