Whole exome sequencing for carcinogen-induced tumours from Lgr5+ intestinal stem cells in pp2a-/- mice. Mus musculus

Using whole-exome sequencing, we found that the mutational landscapes of intestinal tumors derived from Lgr5+ cells treated with carcinogen and PP2A deficiency display similar core pathways with human colorectal cancer found by TCGA. These data provide a basis for understanding the interplay between extrinsic carcinogen and intrinsic genetic modification, and will be important for exploring the complex mutation spectra seen in human cancers.
