To study the effect of siRNA-mediated E2F1 and E2F2 silencing in growth-stimulated prostate cancer cells. Human LNCaP prostate cancer cells were transfected with siRNA SmartPools targeting E2F1, or E2F2 or a non-targeting siRNA SmartPool. Forty-two hours after transfection, cells were treated with synthetic androgen R1881 (0.1nM) or vehicle. Three biological replicates were generated per treatment group. Forty-eight hours later, total RNA was isolated and processed for RNA-Seq analysis.
