Monthly online sales value of wine in Italy 2017-2018

In Italy, online sales of wine reached their peak in the month of December. Both in 2017 and 2018, data showed that the sales value increased dramatically to 2.5 and three billion euros during the last month of the year. The month of November reported significant sales too because of Single Day and Black Friday offers on marketplaces (Amazon included).Also, the source added that in 2018 the revenues from wine sales increased by 18 percent in the e-commerce despite the price indexes of wine on online marketplaces were 50 percent higher than in offline channels.
