Context Walkability scores how easy it is to walk in a specific geographic region within a Zip Code Boundary, Neighborhood Boundary, Residential Boundary or School Attendance Zone Boundary.

Context Walkability scores are constructed using two datasets: Boundary products from Precisely and the National Walkability Index from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA's National Walkability Index uses factor such as street intersection density, proximity to transit stops, and variations in land use to measure the probability of people walking as a mode of transportation.

Context Walkability scores range from 0.0 to 5.0, with higher scores indicating geographic regions that are more conducive to walking.

Context Walkability data is available with the following polygon products:
- Neighborhood Boundaries
- Residential Boundaries
- School Attendance Zone Boundaries
- ZIP Code Boundaries

Context Walkability data and geographies are linked by IDs. A universal Context ID links to a polygon ID. In this listing we also have included the separately licensed Precisely Neighborhood Boundaries Product to demonstrate this linkage via a query.

This sample data set covers the San Francisco, CA area. This represents a subset of the full product’s geographic extent. The full commercial offering features geographic coverage of the entire United States. Contact snowflake.partnership@precisely.com for more information on licensing the product.
