Here, we report on a field study exploring the effect of parasitism by Cuscuta australis on the rhizosphere microbiota (16S and ITS rDNA) of seven plant species sharing and not sharing the parasite native range. Sample have been collected in a field in Linhai, Zhejiang Province, China.
