Differential brain gene expression in female and male D. melanogaster at 3, 7, and 14 days post-eclosion

This study provides a screen of sexually dimorphic tissue-specific (brain) gene expression in fruit flies age 3, 7, and 14 days post-eclosion. This work can be used as a baseline reference point for comparing sex-specific brain gene expression levels in fruit flies under stress. Overall design: Effects of age (3, 7, and 14 days post-eclosion) and sex on gene expression in the brain.
