Deep Ellum Public Improvement District

Connects to eco dev website: https://www.dallasecodev.org/427/Deep-Ellum-PID Deep Ellum Public Improvement District (DEPID) was established in 1999 and renewed in 2006, 2013 and 2018. The Deep Ellum area consists of approximately 700 properties and is a combination of business, residential, public and light industrial uses. The Deep Ellum Foundation manages the PID. The general nature of the service and improvements provided by the PID are graffiti control, landscaping, park improvements, trash pickup, neighborhood improvements, acquisition, construction, operation and maintenance of mass transportation facilities, marketing and promotional activities, distinctive lighting and signage, business development and recruitment to promote the area as the Deep Ellum Entertainment District and related services and activities approved by the Dallas City Council. The current PID term runs until December 31, 2025 with annual budget and assessment rate subject to a public hearing and City Council approval.
