Climate Physical Risk Index (CPRI)

Climate Physical Risk Index (CPRI) dataset includes comprehensive climate physical risk assessment data for 170 countries, 31 Chinese provinces, and 229 Chinese cities from 1993 to 2023. The index contains four dimensions including the standardized average annual extreme low temperature days (LTD), extreme high temperature days (HTD), extreme rainfall days (ERD) and extreme drought days (EDD) of all stations in a certain region (country/province/city). The standards for extreme values of LTD, HTD, ERD, EDD are 10% quantile and 90% quantile of daily average temperature, 95% quantile of daily rainfall, and 5% quantile of daily humidity between January 1, 1973 and December 31, 1992, respectively. CPRI is the arithmetic mean of these four sub-indices. The original daily data of meteorological stations is sourced from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration).

气候物理风险指数（Climate Physical Risk Index，CPRI）数据集涵盖了1993年至2023年间170个国家、31个中国省级行政区以及229个中国城市的综合气候物理风险评估数据。该指数包含四个维度，分别为某一区域（国家/省份/城市）内所有气象站点的标准化年平均极端低温日数（LTD）、极端高温日数（HTD）、极端降雨日数（ERD）以及极端干旱日数（EDD）。其中极端低温日数、极端高温日数、极端降雨日数、极端干旱日数的极端值判定标准，分别以1973年1月1日至1992年12月31日期间的日平均气温的10%分位数与90%分位数、日降雨量的95%分位数、日湿度的5%分位数作为依据。气候物理风险指数为这四个子指数的算术平均值。气象站点的原始逐日数据来源于美国国家海洋和大气管理局（National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration，NOAA）。
