Lung-specific MCEMP1 acts as an adaptor for KIT to promote SCF-mediated mast cell proliferation [Lung RNA-seq]

We analyzed the lung transcriptome of Mcemp1-/- mice versus wild-type mice in ovalbumin (OVA)-induced asthma model by RNA sequencing. 6-8 weeks old wild-type mice or Mcemp1-/- C57BL/6 mice were immunized via intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin (OVA) on days 1, 4, and 7. 5 days after the third sensitization, mice were challenged with intranasal instillation of OVA weekly for a total of 8 weeks. Control mice received saline for both sensitization and challenge.
