资源简介:
Cold adaptation is a canonical model to study the induction of thermogenic and mitochondrial activity in adipose tissues. Yet, the effects of thermal adaptation in other metabolic-relevant tissues, such as the liver, are poorly explored. Here, we present a dataset that allows us to contrast the effects of acute cold exposure (24h, 4C) in a multi-tissue RNA sequencing approach. Overall design: C57BL/6 adult mice were put under thermoneutral (30C) or cold (4C) conditions for 24 hours. Mice were sacrificed for tissues and blood samples to be collected. Interescapular brown adipose tissue, inguinal white adipose tissue, and liver were snap-frozen. From these tissues, RNA was purified and processed for sequencing.
