Persicivirga (Nonlabens) mediterranea Genome sequencing and assembly. Nonlabens mediterrranea strain:TC4

Persicivirga (Nonlabens) mediterrranea TC4 has been isolated in the Toulon bay, France in 2008 after 6h immersion of a polystyrene substratum in the mediterranean sea. A very small number of strains belonging to this genus have had their genome sequenced. This strain appears to have developped interesting strategies to survive in the marine environment in particular in presence of other bacteria or of some eukaryotic unicellular organisms (protozoa). In order to understand these biotic interactions at the molecular level (RNAseq....), Persicivirga (Nonlabens) mediterrranea TC4 genome need to be sequenced.
