Whole genome expression analysis showed that Rv1985c protein controlled gene expression of additional genes such as ppsB, ppsC and ppsD. Overall design: To evaluate what genes are under the transcriptional control of LysG(Mt), a whole genome expression analysis of Wt Mt (Wt_Mtb) and ΔlysG(1985c) was done. Both were grown in a minimal medium supplemented with 5 mM lysine as sole nitrogen source.
