资源简介:
Bacterium-like particles (BLP) consist of a peptidoglycan layer containing no proteins or nucleic acids prepared by boiling lactic acid bacteria in an acidic solution. So far, most of the studies on the BLP-based vaccine system have been conducted by intranasal administration. On the other hand, there are a few studies to investigate the adjuvant activity of per oral administrated BLP. It is not known, however, whether the adjuvant activity of BLP differs between oral and nasal administration. In this study, we investigated the effect of route of administration of BLP on its adjuvant effect. To this end, gene expression changes of in the Peyer's patches and the Nasal-associated lymphoid tissue after 6 hours of the BLP administration via oral and intranasal route, respectively, were analyzed by RNA-sequencing.
