资源简介:
A privy sample from River Bank, Site 24CA373, was examined for macrofloral
remains. In addition, fruit pits from areas of trash fill at the site were also
sent for identification. River Bank was occupied by workers for the Boston and
Montana Smelter and their families between 1891 and 1908. These people were
squatters on the land that was owned by the Great Falls Western Power and
Townsite Company. Macrofloral analysis of privy and trash remains is used to
determine foods eaten by the River Bank occupants.
