This dataset contains fisheries landing data pertaining to Louisiana seafood production between 2002-2014, as made available by NOLA.com and the Louisiana Times-Picayune through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Variables of interest include location, number of trips, yield in pounds, and economic value of catchings of four types of seafood: blue crab, brown shrimp, oysters, and white shrimp.
