The survey monitors respondents' attitudes towards the war in Ukraine and the reception of refugees from Ukraine, as well as geopolitical orientations and attitudes towards NATO. The survey also includes questions on political preferences, interest in politics, trust in institutions and overall concerns. The survey also ascertains religiosity, preferred sources of information, attitudes towards the European Union Recovery Instrument and the safety of nuclear power plants. At the time of data collection, the war in Ukraine, which began in February 2022 with the invasion of Russian troops, was ongoing. There were discussions about the adoption of further sanctions against the Russian Federation, rising energy and commodity prices, and staff shortages in Slovak ambulances and hospitals.
