COVID-19 impact on Romanian counties 2020-2021, by GDP change

The coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic was reflected on the Romanian counties' change in GDP. The GDP forecast for the second quarter of 2020 was expected to be negative in all 40 counties in Romania and the city of Bucharest. The least affected counties were Calarasi and Vaslui, with a GDP forecast of slightly above -11 percent for the second quarter of 2020. On the other hand, the highest impact was predicted in Ilfov. However, the forecast for the first quarter of 2021 outlined positive value changes for every country.
