Valuation of visitor satisfaction, interpretive service effects and economic benefits of ecotourism (3/5)

Ecotourism is often considered as a responsible travel to natural areas. The process of such travels can contribute significantly to environmental conservation and local people's benefit. Ecotourism's worth lies in its potential to provide three win situations – one win for the environment, one win for the economy and the other win for the local community and existing social and cultural structures. When engaged in ecotourism planning and development, the issues, such as, how to reduce environment impact, how to enhance visitor satisfaction by increasing visitor's nature experiences, and how to promote economic benefit by improving the inter-relationship between local community and ecotourism, are very important. Therefore, the study items including visitor satisfaction, interpretive service effects and economic benefits of ecotourism will be separately analyzed in this project in five years.
